Amsterdam Studio Session is a project initiated by Remi in order to bring local jazz musicians to record original music composed and orchestrated by Remi himself. Three pieces were written while studying Master degree at the Utrecht Conservatorium (2013 - 2015). From compositional point of view, jazz great's such as Duke Ellington, George Bruns, Charles Mingus, Herbie Hancock, Donny McCaslin and Maria Schneider have been a huge inspiration, which helped Remi to explore ideas of his own.
